CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN

2003- The Lay-Out

Located in a large pre-war building, the apartment was pretty big- about 1,600 square feet.    It was a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath unit, with a nice, long entrance foyer, a decent sized kitchen, and a big living room.  Not the most modern unit in the world, but after all, this was Washington Heights.

The two bedrooms at the front end of the apartment were occupied by Marisol and Donya.

The two bedrooms in the back were smaller- those were my room and the dungeon.

The first clue that Marisol and Donya were using the space more as a marketing tool than an actual working dungeon was the fact that it was designed to look like a yoga studio, albeit one decorated by Morticia Addams.  It had all of the accoutrements of an actual working dungeon but it was very clean and new looking, which was the opposite of most working dungeons, especially anything located outside of Manhattan.

When the girls first acquired the lease, they got in touch with the guy who’d designed the dungeon they used to work at and had him come in and set their place up properly.  They had him soundproof the dungeon, living room and all of the bathrooms.  He was also allotted a healthy budget to install good quality playroom equipment, as well as a decent assortment of ropes, hardware, props and accessories.  This was smart, because everything was good to go if they ever needed to switch gears to focus on real BDSM sessions.

After I figured it all out for myself, it made sense for me to just play back and wait to see how long it would take the girls to come in and try to get me to become a part of their offerings package.  A well-dressed, new wave hip hop white girl who was cool with sissy games and actually had decent training in rope play?  I would be an asset, no doubt about it.

I was hoping that, when approached, I’d have the discipline and fortitude to say no, but it was a slippery slope and I was living across the hall from a dungeon.

The nice thing was I already knew my worth in this world- so if I did decide to say yes negotiations should play in my favor, for a change.  This time out, I’d be all about the money.
